There are many ways to shape the organization, depending on the level of involvement you can commit to.
The Patrons of Czech Founders play a crucial role in shaping the organization by selecting members of the Board of Directors (“Správní rada”) and Supervisory Board (“Dozorčí rada”) for a 3-year term. The Board of Directors and Supervisory board members are more involved; they are responsible for choosing the Managing Director and overseeing the organization's operations.
Our internal Slack group has channels dedicated only to the Patrons of Czech Founders and all partners. It is a great place to stay in the loop and engage with the internal community. But it is more than that - this is your opportunity to give feedback, share ideas, and shape the direction of our organization. The channel #patrons is part of the Czech Founders Slack community, called Forum, available here [czechfounders.slack.com](http://czechfounders.slack.com/). We understand that you cannot commit to checking the channel every day, but we encourage you to take a look at updates and discussions at least once a month.
Once a year, we will host an off-site gathering for the Patrons of Czech Founders members and the closest partners. This is an important event to share details about our results, plans and to celebrate our growing community.
We are planning to organize the next event in Q3 2024. More info to follow.
As previously mentioned, the Board of Directors and Supervisory Board members are more involved and they will be attending quarterly strategy meetings/calls. Members also support the operating team with advice and involvement in specific projects.
You can also shape the organization by pushing, participating, or even initiating a project that you would like to help move forward. Please always get in touch if you want to be more involved in anything we do or if you want to share an idea or initiate something.
